I had always enjoyed keeping a travel sketchbook anytime I went on vacation, but I took it to another level when I moved to Europe in 2009. I lived in Edinburgh, Paris, and Sarijavo, and visited every country in between. My sketchbook had been a place to keep drawings of the things I saw and notes about the things I did, but it also became also a place to put coffee, tea, and wine stains, pressed flowers and leaves, maps, and all the bits of paper that I collected. It's a habit I continue to practice anytime I travel.
