New Prints for Calgary Expo: Frank and his Bride

Once again, I'm going to have a table at the Calgary Expo, April 27th to the 30th. In preparation, I've been working on some new pieces to make into prints to sell at the event. I thought it would be fun to do a series of portraits of old school horror characters in my style. I was mostly inspired by the Bride of Frankenstein and her crazy hair, so I started with her. And once I was happy with her sketch, I drew her husband.

Because I wanted the colours to be the same in both paintings, I worked on both portraits at the same time.

I took photos of the painting progress along the way.
